This small house carries the memory of the artist, childhood wonder - the colour, the spectacle, the smell of sawdust and the excitement under canvas. Its striped roof and tattered flag recall nights beneath the big top, where awe mingled with fear, and everything felt larger than life.
Preserved in wax, the image softens into daydream - a spark of imagination and childhood that still exists within us all.
CARE FOR ENCAUSTIC ART
Hang and store at normal room temperatures. Avoid freezing and extremely hot conditions - wax will melt at around 65 deg. C / 150 deg. F Keep out of direct sunlight. If the surface becomes dull, gently buff with a clean, soft cloth to restore its natural sheen.
