Highway To Heaven
Limited Edition Photograph Print by Peter Latham
1:5 Panorama
Stretched Canvas in box frame 436×1682mm
Framed Canvas in Dark Brown Timber
After a long & exciting day off-roading through the Nevis Valley, I emerged high on a ridge overlooking the Queenstown / Te Anau highway which passes through the Garston Valley. As soon as my eyes saw this spectacular scene, I couldn't stop the car quick enough & I leapt out with my camera bag dangling from my shoulders at breakneck speed. I knew the incredible lighting wouldn't last & with no time to consider using the tripod, I hand-held my camera & captured 7 frames from left to right across the horizon. 30 seconds later the clouds blocked the sunlight from most of the valley floor, but I had already secured it - just in the nick of time! A fleeting moment of magic, this epitomises what a grand landscape is all about, a majestic scene that pulls you in & transports you to that very place.
Also available as a carefully crafted Fuji Flex print, the ultimate photographic print process that is available. This is face-mounted under True Vue 99% U.V. conservation clear acrylic & mounted onto Di-Bond for a modern, frameless look. The incredibly fine detail & impact that is portrayed with these is astounding & forms part of a stunning new range of imagery.
